On Friday, March 9th, 2018 all Carmine’s locations will be selling $1 meatballs outside the restaurants (weather permitting) in celebration of National Meatball Day. Carmine’s is known for their family-style, large-portion dishes and their famous meatballs are no exception. Made with veal and beef, the meatballs are rolled into enormous balls making them a favorite menu item nationwide. The $1 meatball offering will be available during the following times at each location:
The $1 meatballs will be first come, first serve at all Carmine’s locations and will only be available at the specified times and only at the National Meatball Day tables outside the restaurants. All proceeds will be donated directly to each charity and extra donations from patrons will be accepted.

The New York Common Pantry is dedicated to reducing hunger throughout New York City, while promoting dignity and self-sufficiency. NYCP works toward the reduction of hunger and food insecurity through an array of programs that help establish long-term independence for those it serves. Since opening in 1980, as a small neighborhood pantry serving 30 families, NYCP has become one of New York City’s most innovative emergency food providers, offering meals and support services to almost 500,000 individuals a year. The Choice Pantry serves up to 2,000 families a week, redistributing thousands of pounds of produce each week. NYCP served over 6,000,000 meals in 2017.
Atlantic City Rescue Mission in New Jersey:
The Atlantic City Rescue Mission is set apart by the Spirit of God to preach the Gospel and meet the physical, emotional and other basic needs (through the provision of shelter, clothing, food, counseling, referral and structured programs) of the poor and those who are bound and bruised by addictive lifestyles in Atlantic City and the surrounding communities.
D.C. Central Kitchen in Washington, D.C.:
As the nation’s first and leading community kitchen, DC Central Kitchen develops and operates social ventures targeting the cycle of hunger and poverty. The organization’s life-changing ventures provide culinary training to jobless adults, turn wasted food into balanced meals for shelters and nonprofits, expand access to healthy food, and provide healthy, scratch-cooked meals in low-income schools. These efforts have been recognized with the leading national award for healthy school food innovation, The Golden Carrot; the Washington Business Journal’s Green Business Award for Innovation; and the DC Chamber of Commerce’s Community Impact Award.
Three Square Food Bank in Las Vegas:
Established in 2007 to provide hunger relief, Three Square Food Bank offers wholesome, nutritious food to nonprofit and faith-based organizations, schools and feeding sites that serve a wide range of Southern Nevadans. A national model project inspired by Founder Eric Hilton with a grant provided by the Conrad N. Hilton Foundation, Three Square is a community collaborative partnership with businesses, nonprofit agencies, food distributors, higher education institutions, the Clark County School District, governmental entities, the media and thousands of volunteers to efficiently and effectively work together to serve those in our community struggling with hunger. Three Square currently provides more than 36 million meals, the equivalent of more than 44 million pounds of food and grocery product – per year through a network of more than 1,600 community partners.
